Choir updates & picture spam
Gold Choir Exchange @ Temasek Sec:
We had the exchange on the 9th of March It really seems like ages ago yet not at the same time. So our conductor, Mr Lim, likes to have choir exchanges (he has 9 choirs wow overachiever HAHAHA). As the name implies, it was for Gold/Gold with Honours choirs. We were the only silver. He said we were the "underdogs". I think we did pretty badly though. We were the first choir up and we weren't good. Before that, when we entered the hall, he had us go up on stage to listen to us for a bit but he got fed up with us instead. :( Temasek was right there and he scolded us so badly. It's no wonder that we think he's biased towards them, right? Not that I wouldn't be either, they're always fantastic and we're either good or very bad. And he likes them a lot (obviously). At the end of it, he said we were okay. But, you know, some of us heard that some people in Temasek said that the thing was from the worst choir to the best. Which, in total honesty, is true, I mean, we're the only Silver choir there! And they were fantastic as usual. But there was no need to say it explicitly. Anyway, pictures! :))

SOTA Soundcheck:
We had our soundcheck on the 12th of March! Apparently we were right after Temasek... High expectations to live up to. But Mr Lim said we were good! All of us were so high after the soundcheck and we listened to our recording on the bus home... Stacy was even dancing. Not much to say, talked with Jermaine for a bit before the soundcheck, I really hope she gets to wherever she wants!

Christchurch Secondary:
21st March. Also Calvin's birthday. We sang Happy Birthday to him the moment he stepped in (for a choir, we sang hideously). And then Natalie and Thad were chanting "taupok, taupok," and I was looking at them weirdly. And they thought I didn't support it BUT I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT IT WAS?? And then they told me. So apparently a "birthday bash" doesn't mean a party... Ouch.
I look ok here, Karyn's like all "DIS BE MA HOMIES" and Thad is just fabulously awkward when will I get used to this? ((never))
LOOK. NATALIE'S SHOWING TEETH. I look like I'm itching to start a fight HAHAHA but I needed to post this because Nat's TEETH.
