Food Friday
Today, we had the first "Food Friday" ehehe. Me and Tikah only, though.

I started off with a Math Morning with Yanta.

Philosopher Tan pondering the complexities of life with his hashbrown.

The fabulous Chef Tan seasoning his... I don't even know what this is?

I was late, as usual. He wasn't even surprised anymore. This guy apparently seasons his jam-spread bread (buns?) with SALT. He says it's nice I can't even? One day I will regret these captions but HAHAHAHA Professor Tan in his element.

So I froze in McDonald's doing math with Tutor Tan while hearing my stomach grumble. I AM SO EXCITED??? Yanta said that if I get a distinction (A1 or A2) for my A. Math during the prelims he'll treat me to sushi!!! How can one not be motivated after that? And then when I told Rochele that she said she'll treat me to froyo if I do omg. This is so much motivation (why is it in the form of food) that I'm literally all pumped up for math! I should print out pictures of sushi and froyo to paste on my wall and motivate me when I'm down. But anyway, I was anticipating the start of Food Friday so much that I couldn't focus properly plus my stomach was like *le war cry*. But Yanta said something that made me un-hungry so that was good.

When it was finally 12.30nn, we left the dreary seats of ice to meet Atikah. Yanta was so relieved I couldn't stop laughing. "Spending too much time on a Saturday morning with Zinc is bad for health," he said. SATURDAY. Folks, I introduce you to your nerd neighbour. Study until the common sense part of the brain explode. Tsk. Anyway, we saw Bernice and her friend! She was so pretty how can someone be so pretty and have such un-mortal-like hair? Her hair is just. I look at it, I look at mine, I am sad. :( It's okay. I've a long way to go to achieve good hair.

Atikah and I almost couldn't make the trip to City Hall! We were complaining about how long it was ahhh hunger really makes a person crazy. When we reached there, we literally homed in on Sushi Express. We speed-walked with a purpose, man. To consume SUSHI. We were really terrified that the restaurant would be closed but it wasn't! Yayness :))

We were seated at the sub-belt seats. The ones on the left in the picture. It was kinda hot but I think it really felt like a Japanese sushi bar hahaha. I was shaking when we sat down because I was so excited HAHAHA. And... I grabbed 3 plates of sushi at one go. Ate some, and then remembered that I was supposed to take pictures for Rochele.

Angle angle filter filter. Haha. Their grilled (broiled?) salmon sushi is the best. I think half of what I ate consisted of that. They use an actual (mini?) flamethrower to grill it, and when they do, the aroma fills the whole restaurant. It was beautiful. I ate a lot! No regrets though. Now you will all find out for yourselves what I am like when there is sushi and I have money.

And I wasn't even finished. Oh, the plate on the top was the miso soup. Now, miso soup is fantastic on its own, but they really make a mean miso soup. I always get some whenever I go there.

I am a happy girl. Atikah ate so little omg made me feel so fat :( which I am HAHAH not the point but seriously.

A whole parade of salmon. Don't mind the camera quality!

I'm sure you can infer which stack is mine. Please don't make fun of me gosh but it was so good! 19 plates in total, the bill was $33.55, I think.

And the best part, was that we had even MORE food after that.

il Gelato de Bruno offers 24 flavours. They even have sugar-free, and vegan options. Must bring Karen here, they don't use milk! :)

There's nearly always an offer here! 2 (small) cups for $4.50. One scoop each. Atikah got mint and I got the... I don't even know? Carapino? Garapino? I can't remember... Sorry for the bad picture, a boy was insisting on smashing his face against the glass... I guess he was really eager for the gelato!
The green one's mint, obviously. The other one is mine. I'm practically salivating now as I type this, thinking of the gelato... Ah...

I said we needed to walk around to digest a bit hahaha. We were broke so we "window-shopped". We went into the Body Shop, though. Their strawberry body mist smells fantastic! I'm tempted to get one for me but I know I won't use it.

At 4, we finally left City Hall to go to my place. Karen joined us too! To make cheesecake :> I don't have a good picture of it now :( while we were waiting for the cheesecake to settle in the fridge, we watched the Princess Diaries. I love that movie. While watching the movie, I said that it should be Fat Friday instead, because we'd be fat after that. Fun, fun, fun, Oh wait. It should be Fun Friday! Haha. Oh, then the cheesecake took too long and they had to leave, they couldn't stay over. I was so sad that I called up 3 people to ask them to come over but, well, it was too late. It's okay. Alone time is good too, I used it to type up this post. Adios amigos :))
